Zen Bodywork is not only my professional massage therapy practice name, but also my way of life. I believe that exercise training and massage therapy are a pivotal part of a healthy body and lifestyle. Experience the serenity of my Zen inspired massage studio in Fountain Inn.
I am a graduate of the therapeutic massage and bodywork program at Carolina Bodywork Institute formerly in Greenville, South Carolina. I am professionally trained in Swedish and deep tissue therapeutic massage, Sports massage, Neuromuscular bodywork, and Hot stone therapy, as well as Reiki energy work and Craniosacral Therapy. I am constantly expanding my knowledge base and training in advanced bodywork and energy work modalities through accredited continuing education programs and webinars offered through the ABMP.

After graduating from Carolina Bodywork Institute in November, 2008, I obtained my South Carolina Massage and Bodywork license and completed my Reiki training in January, 2009 and completed my training in Sports Massage in April, 2010. My bodywork sessions are designed to bring complete relaxation to my clients and to relieve any pain issues that they may have.
I have enjoyed being the recipient of stress and pain relieving massage therapy for years, and in 2008 I decided to become licensed in this healing art in order to help others with pain and stress relief. I tailor each massage therapy session to the individual client to achieve the best possible results. I believe that everyone should strive to live life to the fullest, and a healthy mind and body are crucial components of a long life.
Personally, I love nature and the challenging life events she presents to us, and I believe that they make us all stronger individuals. I look forward to sharing the journey to fitness, healing and wellness with you and helping you achieve and maintain a healthy body, mind and spirit!
Most recently, I completed my certification in Personal Fitness and Exercise Training through NCCPT in July 2013. I am currently working on some other continuing education related to personal fitness training, such as Group Exercise, and hope to be offering some alternative fitness classes in 2016. Proper exercise plays a pivotal role in keeping your body strong and healthy, as well as keeping your metabolism and energy at peak levels.
